Envoy boasts a 20-year track record of designing and delivering integrated, high-impact projects that prioritize equity, inclusivity, and financial sustainability. Our collaborative approach engages a diverse range of stakeholders, including bilateral partners, government ministries, and local communities, ensuring meaningful and lasting outcomes.

Envoy launched its first impact investment and sustainable development pilots in 2017 in the remote regions of North Kenya County. These initiatives included establishing an adult literacy center, a computer school, an innovation hub, and a sustainable farm. Beyond Kenya, Envoy has piloted and consulted in agricultural and sustainable development projects across East Africa. 

The Smart Village model integrates a sustainable nexus of water, food, and energy to support education, health, and livelihoods in remote communities. By ensuring year-round access to essential resources, it reduced migration, improved school performance, and empowered young women through digital and STEM education. The village became a regional example of resilience, remaining self-sufficient during droughts and even supporting neighboring areas.

Envoy has partnered with County Governments across East Africa to lead large-scale conservation and sustainable development initiatives. With rights secured to an initial 1.6 million hectares—and 60 million more in the pipeline—the projects will generate carbon credit revenue to finance development in remote, underserved regions. This model empowers marginalized communities while promoting climate resilience and inclusive economic growth.
